Heroic Superhero Sessions: Adventurous Storytelling Photography

Designed for kids who want to be the hero of their own story, these superhero sessions are perfect for kids ages 3-10.

Each session takes place on an epic backdrop, and includes the use of two/three superhero outfits from my client closet. Watch as your child enjoys the magic of stepping into the role of their favorite action characters, and finish the session with photos you’ll love forever.

What’s Included?

Use of 2-3 Superhero Costumes from my client closet

I have some great superhero outfits your child is welcome to wear, or feel free to bring your own! I recommend wearing black socks to fit under the shoe covers some of the outfits include. (Just to cover up any toes that like to peek out).

25 Digital Images

1-2 weeks following your session, you’ll come back to the studio to view your gallery at your Gallery Reveal Appointment. You’ll get to see all your edited photos from the session, and you’ll choose 20 digital images to keep. You’ll also purchase your products here. There are many options to choose from, but some favorite products for Superhero Sessions include albums (accordion or lite), folios, and large wall prints.

What’s included in a Superhero Photography Session?

Each session includes the use of my superhero costumes from my client closet. These have been selected to look great in photos! Some of them even come with extra props.

What ages are these sessions best for?

These Superhero Sessions are designed for kids age 3-10, although I’m happy to welcome kids who are older or younger and would like to participate.

How long do sessions take?

These Superhero Sessions take around 30-45 minutes. If your child is younger, we may go faster depending on their attention span.

Do we need to bring anything?

You don’t need to bring anything (except a pair of black socks). You’re welcome to bring your own superhero outfit, however, or any props that your child really loves. Please no realistic weapons.

Can siblings be included?

Absolutely! Other children are welcome to share in the magic of the session for an additional fee. Fee amount depends on whether children will be sharing the session time, credit and digitals or if they’d like their own special moment.

How should we prepare for the session?

Make sure your superhero is well-rested, fed, and excited for a fun experience! Feel free to talk to them about “being a hero for the day” to build up the excitement. It’s great to also set studio expectations, as sometimes these exciting sessions can get a little out of hand and I do have expensive equipment around. Please make sure they know they can have fun as long as they’re keeping everything in the studio safe.

When will we see our photos?

You’ll be invited to a special Gallery Reveal appointment about 1-2 weeks after your session to view your portraits and select your favorites.
