I’m so glad you’re considering a Maternity Session! This is such an amazing time in your life- creating a new little person is no small feat, and you’ll want to look back at this time and celebrate how incredible it was to bring a sweet little baby into your family.

Maternity Sessions are a great way to document this moment, not only for yourself, but for your children as well. Each of my kids love finding all of my pregnancy photos where they are the “baby behind the bump” in our family albums. Maternity Portraits are a fun item to add to baby’s keepsake box.

What is a Boutique Utah Maternity Photographer?

My goal is to make your Utah Maternity Session a deluxe experience, providing you with everything you need to get beautiful, keepsake pregnancy photos that you can share for years to come. One of the main ways I do this is by providing a Maternity Gown Selection for each pregnant mama to enjoy.

Use of 2-3 Gowns from the Maternity Closet

This selection of gowns has been hand curated from some of the best maternity gown companies in the nation, including Mii Estelo, Sew Trendy and Miss Madison’s Boutique. These shops focus on styles that are flattering and make gorgeous portraits. They can also be expensive, which is why I think it’s great to provide them in a client closet so you don’t have to purchase a gown you’ll only wear for pictures.

Professional photography shouldn’t end with just another few dozen photos sitting on your phone- which is why I price my sessions a little differently. Each portrait package includes a small session fee plus a minimum purchase requirement which helps ensure that you end your session experience with beautiful products for your home. Instead of a one-size-fits-all package, this pricing lets you customize based on your preferences and your budget, with the flexibility to invest in what products are the most meaningful to you.

Utah County Maternity Portrait Packages

I would love to be your Utah Maternity Photographer! The best time for your session is when you are between 28-34 weeks pregnant. The optimal time would be closer to the 30 week mark, as you’ll have a baby bump but won’t be as uncomfortable as you may be toward the end of your pregnancy.

Package Item Details

You want to look and feel absolutely fabulous for your maternity session, and a great way to make sure this happens is to use a hair and makeup artist. I have a list of my very favorites- hair and makeup artists throughout Utah County and the Salt Lake City area I can trust to not only make you look great in person, but great in the eye of the camera as well! I’ll reach out to my list and you’ll soon be scheduled for a hair and makeup appointment that will take place the day of your session.

I’ll call you for a one-on-one session consultation, where we can talk about what you’re hoping to get from your maternity session and any ideas you have. We’ll also discuss your ideal maternity gown and I’ll get that ordered for your session. (Options will vary based on time until session date).

Each of my Utah County Maternity Packages gives you access to my client closet. You will get to wear up to three of these maternity gowns during your session. All maternity photos will be taken using dresses from the client closet. You can view these gowns on my Stork and West (Maternity Rental Gowns) Instagram Page and get an idea of what you’d like to wear during your session.

At least one background/dress setup will include photos of you with your immediate family (spouse/partner and children). You will receive an email with tips on how to dress your family to have the best portrait experience.

You are given a specific number of portraits that varies based on your chosen portrait package. I’ll take a full session worth of photos and will edit the ones I feel give the best quality and variety. During your gallery reveal you’ll get the opportunity to choose your included number of portraits from that full gallery. If you would like to purchase additional digitals, you can do so then as well.

I want you to walk away from your Utah County Maternity Session with a beautiful way for you to share your portraits. For that reason, I’ve lowered my session fees and included a minimum product purchase amount. This helps ensure that your money goes toward purchasing your favorite products! Check them out here so you can have an idea what you’d like to purchase.

Your digital files will not be delivered until this minimum product purchase amount has been reached.

Once you have completed your session, we’ll schedule your Gallery Reveal Appointment. These appointments take place in my studio around two weeks after your session. You’ll get to see your photos for the first time in a custom slideshow, and we’ll talk about what products will look best in your home. The Gallery Reveal Appointment and Design Session is where you will choose your digitals and where you will purchase products. These appointments generally last between 45 minutes to an hour.

Can I Check Out Your Maternity Gowns Ahead of Time?

If you’d like to check out my maternity gown selection in person, you’re welcome to schedule a 30 minute gown fitting. Come to the studio and try on any gowns you’re interested in prior to your session!

If you’re already using me as your Utah Maternity Photographer, this gown fitting appointment is free. For clients who don’t have a session scheduled (or are looking to rent a gown for another session), fittings require a non-refundable $10 rental credit.
